Since the invention of LCD, backlights have been constantly improving, from monochrome to color, from thick to thin, from side-mounted fluorescent lamps to flat-panel fluorescent lamps. The latest achievements in luminescent light sources will provide new backlight sources for LCDs. With the advancement of light source technology, newer and better light sources will appear and be used in TFT-LCDs. The rest is to control the light source. We transplanted the technology and process of semiconductor large-scale integrated circuits, successfully developed the thin film transistor (TFT) production process, realized the matrix addressing control of the liquid crystal light valve, and solved the light problem of the liquid crystal display. The cooperation of valve and controller enables the advantages of liquid crystal display to be realized.
